Approval of Business Plan

The Decision

The team, after being told that they need to have the approval of the vice president of administration by their Entrepreneur instructor Ma'am Tumaroy, had split the team into order to accommodate the different tasks needed by the Entrepreneur subject and our other subjects as such, me and my associate were tasked in creating the letter and seeking approval of our business

The Narrative

Through the guidance of our instructor, we were able to create the finished letter at the date of April 23 and it was passed on the date of April towards the office within the Administration Building of the University, the secretary of the Vice President of Administration, Sir Hermie P. Pava has informed me of that he was not around due to having business in Maramag as such I was told to wait and periodically check if the letter was read and approved. I, John Rio, had returned the next day on April 25 in order to collect the paper however I was told once again the letter has yet to be read and approved. I did not go to the admin for the letter on April 26th due to another business that I needed to attend as such I went to collect it on April 29. on April 29, I received the letter and was given a written remark that Sir Hermie P. Pava is unable to sign the letter for approval as it is not his function and redirected me to Ma'am Chistine Justul whos office is stationed in the Market area of the University.

I exchanged my ideas with Ma'am Justul's recommendations regarding our business idea and after 30 minutes of discussion, she had told me that the business idea was feasible and is able to be implemented.

The Options

The team was given two options, keep the original business idea or to redo it. We chose to redo our Business idea as it was given a thorough inspection by a more experienced business person. As such, we reviewed the mistakes we made and remade the plan in order to have a clearer goal on how the plan will be put into real life action.

The Lessons

We learned that seeking the guidance of those more experienced is an important aspect for those that are undergoing their entrepreneurial journey as they have a lot to teach the young and new future business makers. We were able to have a better understanding on how we could implement our business idea with our college course through the evaluation within our BMC and we were able to find the issues that we would have not seen had it not been for those people. We would like to give our thanks to those that made it possible that we could recreate a better business plan for our business idea.
